The other day my friend asked me about how was it going with my Business Management Course London. I think he is considering taking a course too. He asked me to describe how the classes where. So then I decided to write this article and send it to him as an email.
The classes are very interesting. The lecturers talk about a subject using some powerpoints. Some of them give us the slides printed out and some of them put then on the intranet for us to download.
The assignments can be different. In my logistics class we have been asked to write a 4000 words essay describing the supply chain of any well-known company we want. For this we have to do a lot of research and sometimes contacting the companies we are about to analyze.
For other classes we have to prepare presentations. It is about mainly describing marketing strategies of brand and products. We have to talk for about 20 minutes and it has to be in groups. It is very hard to get a group together because son people work and some people just don’t like doing nothing.
My favorite course is personal development. There we study the psychological aspect of business. We learn strategies to confront conflict. It is very interesting. We also study how people think and how they adapt to change. We have to keep a diary where we have to write inner feeling. It is like having shrink. I really enjoy it.
The teacher doesn’t give us all the information we need for the exams. We receive a list of books that we should read. Well not all of them because they are a lot. But it is up to us to do research. The lecturer explains the main topics only.
One week before the exam week we have something called reading week. There are no classes and is supposed for us to be able to study. Some do some other just party.
Exam week is really busy, we have an exam every day and sometimes 2 per day. It is really stressing. The exams are really long and we have to write essays to answer a few question. It normally takes 3 hours. It is a little bit hard to organize all your ideas you make your point, but you get used to it. I really had a hard time at first but now it is ok.
From time to time we have conference about business matters. They are very interesting and optional if you want to assist. I always go.
The trick is to start studying little by little since the classes start but sometimes it becomes difficult because the students organize all sorts of activities. It is fun being a student in London. I completely recommend a Business Management Course London. It will enhance your cv and give you more chances to get a good job
